About the National Skills Learning & Development Program
Since 1984, Toyota Motor Corporation Australia has delivered the National Skills Learning & Development Program, a cornerstone initiative that runs for nine months each year. The program is designed to strengthen the skills and knowledge of Toyota dealer staff across the network, ensuring we consistently deliver an exceptional customer experience and foster long-term brand loyalty.
The program also serves as a platform to promote excellence and to recognise the outstanding contributions of both technical and customer-facing staff. Over its 41 years, the program has evolved in line with Toyota’s kaizen philosophy of continuous improvement, reflecting the values at the heart of our brand.
Participants progress through three stages:
Stage 1: eLearning modules, online quizzes, and face-to-face assessments
Stage 2: Regional Finals, where top scorers are selected as Regional Champions
Stage 3: National Finals, where Regional Champions compete for the title of National Skills Champion 2025
We congratulate Khalyja and Michael on this incredible achievement and thank them for their dedication, skill, and commitment to excellence. Their success reflects the strength of our team and our shared passion for delivering the very best Toyota experience.
We wish them every success as they represent Melbourne City Toyota at the National Finals!
